In discussions with Alpine Gold, we have expressed a need to have a button on our platform that is an alternative to the classic “Pay Now” buttons that take our members to normal payment gateways. Having an online way to “Pay with Gold” allows our members to ‘vote with their money’ so to speak.
When this becomes technically available we will be adding that button right away.
How we recommend Members exchange in metals now
When you become a member of The Union of Humanity, you join a special community of folks that want to do things differently and create a new way of doing things, and we recommend that our members join the UPMA by creating a free account. This let’s you add FIAT dollars and convert them into fractions metal types, ie bullion, goldbacks etc. You can also receive a connected “prepaid” style Visa card that you can shift value from your metals to the card for online purchases.
Even though this is available, we suggest that the UPMA system be used as an E-Transfer system. Each Member UPMA account is accessed through your email address, so you can send value to another members email address, and that value stays in the form in which it is sent, ie goldbacks sent go into the receivers’ goldback account. Those members in Canada have been familiar with this for some time now to send Fiat money.
